The purpose of this article is to determine the degree increase in productivity and efficiency an excavator equipped with a bucket variable cutting-edge shape. work excavators buckets, which shape traditional cutting blades has changed, was compared. A quantitative picture maximizing during development various soils determined. possibility adapting edge itself depending on soil conditions investigated. In addition, influence adaptation technical characteristics mode operation, power, energy parameters digging process obtained results determining different contact component excavation resistance were compared buckets usual type. Processing experimental data made it possible obtain regression model that determines factor dependence response functions transforming factors.
